经过１０多年的励精图治，温州“质量立市、品牌兴市”取得了令人瞩目的成就。这些年来，温州市认真贯彻落实科学发展观，坚持走新型工业化道路，始终把品牌建设作为一个重大战略来实施，以品牌促发展，以品牌提水平，以品牌树形象。2007年，温州市被国家评为全国首批质量立市先进城市，并成为全国知名品牌最多的城市之一。

    After more than 10 years of hard work, Wenzhou has achieved remarkable successes in “building the city by relying on quality and developing enterprises by creating famous brand names”. In these years, it conscientiously acted in the scientific concept of development, unswervingly followed the road of modern industrialization and unremittingly carried out the construction of famous brand names as a major strategy, i.e., promoting development, improving levels and fostering image with famous brand names. In 2007, Wenzhou was appraised as the first advanced city in “building the city by relying on quality” and one of the cities owning the larger number of famous brand names in China.

     全市目前已形成27个“国”字号特色产业基地，拥有58个中国驰名商标、 32 个中国名牌产品、136个全国免检产品、 178 个省级著名商标和 225个 名牌产品。拥有量在全国同类城市中名列前茅，已初步形成了产品品牌、企业品牌、区域品牌齐头并进的良好局面，对温州产业结构调整和产业层次的提升起到了带动作用。

    Wenzhou has set up 27 national production bases of featured industries, with 58 Chinese famous trademarks, 32 Chinese famous-brand products, 136 national inspection-exempt products and 178 provincial famous trademarks and 225 provincial famous-brand products. Being one of the cities of similar size in China, which own the larger number of Chinese famous trademarks and famous-brand products, it has created a good situation of the simultaneous development of product, enterprise and regional brands, giving impetus to the readjustment of industrial structure and the improvement of industrial gradation.

     温州以“电器、服装、鞋业、打火机”四大轻工产品为支柱产业，带动着各大行业的发展，这种区域特色经济，提高了企业组织化程度。改革开放20多年来，温州经济之所以保持较高的增长速度，并成为全国经济发展最具活力的地区之一，其中一个重要原因，就是得益于产业互为依托、一镇一品为基础的特色产业聚集区的形成和发展。
    目前形成了鞋革行业、服装行业、低压电器行业、打火机行业、眼镜行业、汽摩配行业、塑料制品行业、印刷行业、阀门泵类行业、制笔行业、金融设备行业、剃须刀行业、纽扣拉链行业等13大特色产业。
     With the four light industrial products of electrical equipment, clothes, shoes and cigarette lighters as the pillar industries, Wenzhou has promoted the development of all trades and improved the organization scale of enterprises. One of the important reasons why Wenzhou has higher growth rate of economy and become the economically most vigorous area in China for over 20 years of reform and open-up is that it benefits from the construction and development of the gathering area of featured industries with mutual reliance of industries and the basis of one product for one town.
    At present, the city ahs established the 13 featured industries of shoe and leather, clothing, low-voltage electrical equipment, cigarette lighter, valve and pump, pen, financial facilities, razor and button and zipper.

◎临港产业 Port Industries
     温州市通过四大临港产业基地建设，逐步构筑起以石化产业基地为主导，船舶工业、电子等出口加工业、港口物流业加快发展的临港产业新体系。
    大小门岛产业基地主要由小门岛北侧、大门岛北侧围垦区域组成，规划总面积9.38平方公里。该基地主要以化工新原料、有机原料和精细化工生产为主；
     With the construction of the 4 industrial production bases in the neighborhood of the port, Wenzhou has built a new industrial system with petrochemical industry playing the leading role and shipbuilding industry, electronic export processing industry and port logistical industry developing at high speed. The industrial production bases of Damen and Xiaomen Islands are mainly composed of the reclaimed areas on the north sides of Damen and Xiaomen Islands, with the total planned area of 9.38 square kilometers. The bases are mainly to produce new chemical materials, organic materials and fine chemicals.

    南岳港区产业基地沿海规划岸线长约10公里，自南向北依次布置浙能乐清电厂区、南岳临港工业区及船舶工业基地；
     The industrial production base of the Nanyue Harbor has the planned coastline of about 10 kilometers long, laying the production area of Yueqing Power Plant, Nanyue port industrial area and shipbuilding industrial production base from south to north successively.

    苍南芦浦产业基地规划总面积2万亩，总投入约80亿元，主要发展港口物流、电力和承接市区化工产业改造升级，其中有4500亩主要用于发展精细化工产业。
     The Lupu production base of Cangnan County has the total planned area of 20,000 mu, with investment of 8 billion yuan. It is scheduled mainly to develop logistics and power industry and undertake the transformation and upgrading of the chemical industries relocated form the city proper, of which the land of 4,500 mu is mainly used for the development of fine chemical industry.
